LCD Soundsystem Announce Surprise NYC Shows This Weekend
 We already know that LCD Soundsystem are coming back this year; they’re headlining practically every summer festival on the face of the earth including EP. But the band’s first show since their grand 2011 Madison Square Garden farewell won’t be at Coachella, as previously reported. Instead, the band will return to play a pair of small-venue hometown shows this Sunday and Monday.

Chic Return for a Cork Gig This June
 One of the most popular touring bands around, Chic and Nile Rodgers are on their way back to Ireland this summer.The disco legend will play The Marquee in Cork on June 21st for their I’ll Be There Tour.Tickets are on sale next Wednesday at 9am from Ticketmaster. Price TBC. 

Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam & Jesca Hoop For Olympia Theatre Gig
 Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam & Jesca Hoop have teamed up for a collaborative record entitled Love Letter, to be released on April 15th on Sub Pop. Today, the pair have announced a fully-seated Dublin date, live at the Olympia on Tuesday August 30th.Tickets €26 – €28.50 including booking fee & restoration levy are on sale at 10am on Wednesday 23rd March from Ticketmaster outlets and online. 

David Kitt, I Have A Tribe & more for a Musictown gig in the Co-Op, Dublin 8 April 16th
  On Saturday April 16th, I am putting on a gig as part of Musictown, the festival celebrating music talent and culture in the capital of all genres by Dublin City Council. It’ll be a part of the Minimum Maximum series of special events in unique spaces and it will take place in the Dublin Food Co-Op in Newmarket Square, Dublin 8 (previous places have included Monster Truck Gallery, Block T and Wood Quay Amphitheatre). On the night, there will be a lineup Irish emerging talent and established artists featuring:
